➧ Welcome
Let's do something positive, together ...
Thanks for finding this space, I hope some small part of it resonates with you. My name is Jeni McConnell and I am a socially engaged artist living in Flookburgh. This blog space has been created to share the planet friendly things I'm getting involved with on the Cartmel Peninsula and its surrounding area.
I want to connect with other people to gather, to share ideas, things, happenings, conversations and knowledge with the aim of sparking deeper conversations, fostering hope and bringing dreams to life for our community and communities, hamlets, villages and town. Most importantly I want to have fun!
If some or all of this resonates and you'd like to know more or get involved once you've had a look around here please reach out and connect- you'll be really welcome and I look forward to hearing from you.

- Single-Use Planet? - a pop-up climate+ exhibition in Grange over Sands
Local groups I'm connected to:
- PEAT - Peninsula Environmental Action Together
- PEAT Climate Action Reading Group
- Cartmel Peninsula Local History Society
- Grange and District Natural History Society
- Grange and District U3A - environment group
- Aerial hoop at Lower Holker Village Hall
- Wild swimming - mostly in Coniston, so far
You can find out a bit more about my earlier creative practice on my website - it's not up to date but it gives you a good flavour.
